Covington Municipal Airport - KCVC Pilot Reviews

Made a stop here for fuel during the Thanksgiving break. The FBO facilities are quite modern and very pleasant. Be aware that the fuel pumps are located on the far side of the airfield, accessible from A2. A portable toilet is situated near the self-serve pumps, but the main restrooms are inside the FBO building. Since the fuel truck was depleted upon our arrival, self-service necessitated an extra taxi. Fuel costs here are highly competitive.

Arrived after hours for fuel and to drop off my passenger. After receiving assistance from the airport manager via phone after hours, he directed me to a green button concealed by the bushes at night to gain entry! One learns something new every day!!! Haha. Thanks for the excellent landing lights, the open building at the SS Gas end of the field, and the friendly staff!

I called on Thursday around 11 AM, but there was no answer. I managed to leave a voicemail. I arranged for a rental car via AOPA just to be secure.

Pleasant staff and a positive experience stopping for lunch. We utilized the crew car and made a swift stop in Mystic in downtown Covington before returning to PDK.

I phoned the main desk twice today, October 16, 2023, around 4:00 PM, and my call kept getting shuffled in the queue. The system repeatedly stated there was no voicemail configured for that extension. It is quite difficult to assist someone if there isn't at least a method for taking messages. I was attempting to arrange travel into the region for a funeral service.
