I have been flying in and out of this location for the last three years while visiting relatives on the west side of San Antonio. It would be difficult to locate a superior stopover. Fuel prices are good, the ramp is pleasant, and they offer a couple of courtesy vehicles. Furthermore, the staff are the most welcoming people you will ever encounter. I strongly endorse this airport for accessing San Antonio.

January 2024 - Saturday visit. Nice terminal building and SServe 100LL, both accessible 24 hours. No apparent fees were charged. Open tiedowns are available, so bring your own ropes or chains. Parachute jumping occurred using the CTAF with a C182. Stores are located nearby. This location provides good General Aviation access for the west side of San Antonio.
