Pennridge Airport KCKZ Pilot Reviews

Landing at KCKZ to obtain approximately 50 gallons of fuel. The aircraft was on the ground for 34 minutes according to FlightAware records, and I was assessed a $5 landing fee along with a $50 "parking fee." This seems excessive! Vector advised me to forward the receipt, and they would credit the $50 from my final invoice. I pointed out that this amounts to a $5 charge just for providing data they already possess. :) I strongly recommend landing elsewhere!!!!

I just received a call from the airport regarding an update: they agreed to waive my $50 parking fee since I purchased fuel. However, they refuse to negotiate or waive landing fees. Furthermore, they indicated they wouldn't mind if I never returned, suggesting it would be better if general aviation pilots weren't congesting the airways or using their facility. They insisted we have no comprehension of airport operating costs and that they are doing us a favor.

Stopped at the self-serve pump to obtain 100LL, only to find the pump was secured with a zip tie. I did not check if a fuel truck was available. The management appears indifferent or unaware of General Aviation needs. Word is that the current manager inherited the airport from a relative and views it as an inconvenience.

I recently incurred a landing fee of $5 for an after-hours stop and go. It's not a major issue, but the airport seems somewhat reserved about disclosing its fee structure.

What a racket! I just received an invoice for $110 for drop-off and pick-up services. I was only on the ground for less than an hour total! The published fee schedule indicates no landing fee applies. I had discussed this with a staff member at the FBO prior to my arrival, as I had heard rumors about unexpected charges, and they assured me it would only cost five dollars for a two-seat aircraft. That was incorrect! I plan to contest this charge because this feels like an unfair money grab! Steer clear of this airport!
