Air Bound Aviation KCDW Pilot Reviews

I work here and fly out of KCDW! Amenities as of the time of writing include: restrooms (with complimentary mouthwash and a changing room), a pilot's lounge (featuring a TV, reclining chairs with leg rests and power outlets, a table, and dimmable lights), a galley (equipped with a microwave, fridge, freezer, plates & cutlery, tables, water, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa), drink and snack vending machines, a conference room (available by reservation), a general lounge area, and outdoor patio space. Pro tips: HANGAR SPACE is usually VERY LIMITED. Please call well in advance of your visit! CDW > TEB

The line crew provided assistance with parking and prompt fueling. The FBO was a comfortable place to wait for our passenger. It is a busy airport with several flight schools operating here. It works well for accessing the city quickly. An Uber ride took approximately 50 minutes and cost $75 each way.

Not satisfactory. Arrived in a Mooney, the attendant behind the counter was preoccupied with his phone, directing me to the paperwork without making eye contact. I had previously discussed transportation to the nearby bus stop with someone, but that individual stated they were extremely busy even though my aircraft was the sole one on the ramp and the FBO appeared entirely vacant.

Landed on 6/4/25 in a Bonanza. A very nice FBO experience. We stayed overnight. The ramp fee totaled $30, and overnight parking cost $25. Entry and exit were straightforward. Newark approach control was quite busy but excellent. I would certainly land here again.
