A really pleasant FBO with exceptionally friendly line service. We were immediately greeted, parked, and offered a nice crew car. The airport sees a bit of training traffic, but it remains a superb facility and a convenient stop.

The people here are very pleasant. However, upon my arrival, they directed me across town to collect my Hertz rental car. When we reached that location, the Hertz manager informed us he had left it at the FBO. Consequently, I drove all the way back, and indeed, the car was waiting there with the keys at the front desk. Furthermore, I left my aircraft overnight, and they lacked indoor hangar space. The following morning, I experienced difficulty starting the engine due to the cold temperatures, as they did not possess an engine pre-heater or a jump box. They also did not have a readily available list of mobile A&Ps.

The building is quite nice and clean. However, the staff seems slow and unapologetically rude. Do not expect quick or quality service. I arrived numerous times to an empty FBO, wondering how I would manage to get fuel, only to call the numbers posted on the wall, find an attendant, and then be scolded afterward. Once they finally appear, they take an excessive amount of time to prepare the fuel truck and service the aircraft. It required almost 40 minutes to pump 30 gallons of 100LL. Overall, SS needs to resolve whatever customer service issues are currently present.
