Very nice FBO facility. I would certainly recommend their services. David met us at our Bonanza and then took me to retrieve our rental car at Enterprise since they failed to deliver it to the FBO. Fuel prices are a bit high for this region, and they still impose a tie-down fee even after a full fuel purchase. They do have maintenance personnel available on site if assistance is required.

Excellent FBO service. Staff were very friendly. When Avis mishandled our reservation, they permitted me to use their courtesy vehicle for two days. A truly wonderful experience overall. I strongly endorse this fixed-base operator.

Butte Aviation significantly overcharged us for the ramp fee. Fuellerlink indicates the ramp fee should be $200, yet they billed us $400—double the expected cost. Furthermore, the FBO aggressively questioned us for not purchasing fuel, even threatening our pilot with a story about another pilot who was allegedly fired for not fueling there. We chose to tanker fuel in Spokane because of the prevailing weather and forecast. The manager shouted at the pilot, mistakenly believing they were starting the GPU, when it was actually one of their own line crew members. The manager exhibited very rude behavior. Avoid stopping here if at all possible.

We dropped into Butte Aviation unannounced when our charter got changed at the last minute. We arrived well before they opened, but Dr Hughes was tracking our arrival and met us on the ramp. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. Aviation simply does not function without dedicated people like this.
