Signature Aviation KBOS Pilot Reviews

Signature Boston provided excellent service. The staff were courteous, professional, and treated my arrival just like any other aircraft. I dropped off my daughter and son-in-law so they could catch their flight to Europe. I was only there for about 40 minutes; after fueling 16 gallons and accounting for all the other charges, I received a bill totaling $484 for a Cessna 182. My main complaint involved the ramp fee charged to me—or rather, the $155 fee charged to the aircraft—to pass through security screening.

Single Engine 182: they charge $350. Highly recommended seeking service elsewhere.

BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! The NOTAM information is misleading and deceitful. The airport is open for GA airplanes; however, you MUST email the FBO for permission prior to arrival to avoid outrageous fees. This was the worst FBO experience in my 13-year corporate flying career. They claimed they didn't know we were arriving, then the next day hit us with a $5000 charge for failure to get "PPR" approval. It is very sad what they are doing as the monopoly FBO on the field. The lack of principle at this company is unreal—truly sad.

Absolutely everything that is wrong with GA at large airports. They take complete advantage of everyone, and charge several hundred percent above market for services when compared to other large airports in the area (EWR, JFK, etc). They now require PPR, but the staff at Signature can't seem to figure out how to file that NOTAM correctly, as the NOTAM instructs calling them, yet they only accept PPR requests via email. Exorbitant fees, combined with inept and incompetent service, staff, and management.
