Customs and fuel services today were swift and painless. The FBO provided excellent service, especially since customs processing is located remotely from the main facility.

Customs is now situated on the ramp near the main terminal. It is quite inconvenient relative to the FBO, as the distance is significant. There was no clear rationale provided for this setup. They do dispatch personnel from the FBO via van to deliver fuel to the aircraft. However, if you plan to park overnight, towing will be necessary.

The ramp area to the far left when facing the FBO has tie-down ropes available. It is a bit of a walk, but it offers peace of mind if you plan to stay overnight. Since no golf carts or line service assistance was provided, I dropped my passenger and luggage off on the main ramp directly in front of the facility first, and then taxied over to the rope parking area.

The nearby Holiday Inn offers a free shuttle, excellent pilot rates, a restaurant/bar, and a pool. This is a superb value for transient general aviation.

Landed here at 10 PM in a Bonanza. There were no other aircraft or personnel in the FBO. Two linemen were inside looking at their iPhones, and three staff members were seated, conversing. There was no marshalling assistance, no help with baggage, and a general sense of indifference. I question the necessity of having staff present. However, the facility lights were operational, allowing us to arrange ground transport to a hotel.

It was satisfactory. The staff members were quite friendly and helpful. They drove me to the terminal to pick up a rental car. I didn't mind setting out my own chocks since the ground crew was busy.
