Landed today on our flight to Santa Fe from Spicewood, Texas. It was exactly halfway, and I can say that the facilities were amazing! Also, the runways looked like they had just recently been refurbished. Nicer than most airports that I'm used to flying in or out of! Highly recommend this spot. FYI, the fuel pump credit card system worked perfectly, and we had no issue paying for our fuel.

A pleasant mid-sized airport situated remotely. The FBO is quite nice, clean, and adequately equipped. It serves perfectly for a brief refueling stop. The challenge lies in the fact that the credit card reader on the self-serve fuel pump can be somewhat unreliable. I needed to attempt four different credit cards before one was accepted. The pilot who arrived just before me required the airport manager to intervene to get the pump operational. Therefore, exercise caution if you intend to stop during off-hours.
