Boyne Mountain Resort KBFA Pilot Reviews

The review for KBFA was submitted by David R. The service provided was quite professional. I flew in my SR22 recently. The ramp attendant, Sarah, was very helpful in getting me parked quickly after I landed. I noticed another pilot struggling with their tie-downs on their PA32, but the line crew quickly assisted them as well. Excellent overall experience at this facility.

We are exploring tie downs and appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve our airport facilities. Thanks everyone!

Fees: $10 single, $15 light twin. Enforced via airbase tracking and mailed through vector-us.com.

I was recently invoiced $11.40 for a single prop (Bonanza A36) landing fee sent by mail after arriving there to spend the day golfing on their grounds. If you call, they will collect you using their shuttle and transport you anywhere on the property. I really appreciate the new asphalt surface, but there are no additional airport services apart from the shuttle. I did not attempt to call ahead for fuel; it would be beneficial if that were actually offered.

BFA features a nice small FBO, however, they do not offer self-serve fuel; you must contact them via the number listed on their website beforehand. BFA does provide outlets for Tannis heaters on the building's exterior, but I did not observe any tie-downs or chocks readily available. They impose a landing fee of $10 for single-engine piston aircraft.
