Maine Instrument Flight KAUG Pilot Reviews

Carol

I needed to divert today because of poor weather and landed at KAUG. I was met by a helpful voice on the radio who assisted me with parking and fueling. He then made extra effort to help me arrange a rental car by providing all available options and even contacting managers he personally knew when local inventory was depleted. What an outstanding experience. David went above and beyond, preventing our weekend from being ruined. Kind, professional, very knowledgeable, and a pilot himself as well. Our sincere thanks to David!

Flew in for the weekend and had a very pleasant experience. Line staff met us on the ramp, directed us to parking, and brought the rental car (arranged via Enterprise) right to our aircraft side. Prices for Avgas were quite reasonable.

New owner. The landing fee is now $18 per day, and it is no longer waived with fuel purchase.

There was no crew car available, and the staff seemed unhelpful. Although the front desk mentioned Uber availability, they did not follow through. I encountered a rather small, somewhat agitated gentleman (Michael) working at the desk (CSR). You should supervise your fueling if you want to ensure it is completed correctly. The ramp area is quite confined, and Hertz car rental is situated across the lot in the Cape Air terminal, which closes at 5 PM. If you plan to stop here, I wish you the best of luck.
