Excellent airport for dining and fuel. A couple of courtesy vehicles are available to head into town for Cooper's barbecue.

Excellent stop in the hill country; the staff was very friendly. Grab one of the courtesy cars and head into the charming small town; be sure to visit Brett's Biltong for some South African style jerky.

Stopped by again for Coopers and a half-day exploring the charming town of Llano. Plenty of rental cars available to grab a bite and spend a few hours looking around. An excellent spot for a brief day trip and some meals. We topped off the aircraft and the rental car, then headed into town to spend some time. Let's keep this gem going strong! Excellent airport, good fuel prices, superb service, and plenty of crew cars available. Many friendly pilots frequent this area (though a few difficult individuals pass through, most are wonderful and maintain good traffic pattern etiquette). The City of Llano manages this airport very well. The airport manager is friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful airport offering friendly service and a beautiful view.
