We stopped at KAJR for a brief vacation. Despite having a reservation, our Hertz rental car was unavailable at the FBO during a holiday weekend. The FBO staff mentioned this occurs frequently—they suggested it was my responsibility for not calling ahead. Fortunately, an alternative car service, FBO Drive (FBOdrive.com), rescued our travel itinerary. Please note that when the FBO is operational, the facilities are quite pleasant. However, when closed, we could not locate any public restroom on the airfield.

Very friendly and helpful service offered at a reasonable price for 100LL fuel. The self-service fueling station and terminal building are quite nice. I would certainly plan a fuel stop here again.

Arrived for the weekend, and David ensured we were looked after constantly. A rental car was arranged, and assistance was provided right at the aircraft. Fuel prices for Jet A were quite competitive. The experience could not have been improved upon. We plan to return.

We flew in for a few days over the Thanksgiving weekend. David helped with the tie downs in the cold and gave us the local rundown on things to do. The fuel price and overnight tie down is reasonable. One night tie down got waived with the purchase of 20 gallons from the truck. Thank you David for the support and local information.
