I have been utilizing Bode for the last three years; I have yet to encounter a negative experience there. The personnel are consistently cordial and prepared to assist, and ATC operations are quite efficient despite varied traffic levels. Bode stands out as the premier stopover in the ABQ region. I commute in from Northeastern New Mexico at least once every fortnight.

Bode Aero saved our trip. We were flying coast to coast in our Mooney 201 and had an electrical issue approaching the Albuquerque area. We opted to try the smaller airport hoping to find GA friendly service. We were met with exactly that at Bode Aero. Stewart and the maintenance crew jumped right on the problem, found and corrected the issue within an hour and got us back flying. The staff at the FBO were all friendly and there was a nice comfortable place to wait.

A fine one-week stay overall, the facility was adequate and the restrooms were clean. The tie-down rates for my visit were quite attractive. The staff members are very pleasant. The avionics technician, Nate, went above and beyond to assist me. I heard he is new to Bode; he is certainly an asset. The upstairs restaurant might not look like much, but appearances can be misleading. They serve a fantastic club sandwich and a superb homemade chocolate and graham cracker crust dessert that is worth far more than the price charged. I recommend using Lyft; I had difficulty securing an Uber, but Lyft worked without issue. C210.

A satisfactory facility overall. The restrooms, however, were not in the best condition. I chose to utilize the crew car to grab a meal in town rather than dine at the on-site restaurant.
