I concur with Maddox's assessment. Fuel prices here are the most competitive in the region, and the FBO facilities are quite adequate.

I manage a Facebook group for pilots in Texas and I organize monthly gatherings. Since this airport is centrally situated in Texas, I thought it would be convenient to bring out as many attendees as possible for this month's function. The operations manager was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They offer three courtesy vehicles. Dining options are only about a mile and a half away, and AvGas prices were among the lowest I have observed anywhere in Texas. Pockets Grill is owned by a pilot, and the cuisine was quite satisfying!

Stopped for the inexpensive fuel and had the pleasure of meeting the airport manager. He paused troubleshooting a small issue with the pump to assist us with fueling. Provided a suggestion on dining options and the best rental car to use. He even located some batteries for my headset. He was incredibly welcoming and cordial, and his dining recommendation (Pocket) was spot on. Fueling is quick, tie-downs include rope, and the FBO offered snacks along with courtesy vehicles. A very pleasant visit!
