The field sits beneath the KMAF Charlie shelf, presenting several nearby obstacles, especially toward the northeast. It is advisable to approach from the east or south to bypass the Charlie airspace and most obstructions. Thorough planning is essential. Fuel receipts were unavailable, and the price per gallon wasn't displayed; I had to inquire about the cost.
