Martin & Martin Aviation 50R Pilot Reviews

An excellent stop for lunch in Texas! We experienced a delay leaving Fort Worth and were fortunate enough to find Keith securing the facility for the evening. He advised us that securing a ride share at that time would be difficult and decided to join us for dinner! We plan on returning and utilizing the crew car during standard business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM.

The runways and taxiways were recently resurfaced, so they are in good condition. Unfortunately, none of the ramp areas received attention, leaving them still rough. The FBO staff were quite friendly.

Made a brief stopover here. John at Martin & Martin provided outstanding service, from parking my aircraft to securing a courtesy car very quickly. A short 8-minute drive leads to excellent BBQ. Self-serve 100LL is conveniently located right next to the parking area. I plan to return.

Excellent service! Flew in on my Bonanza and Jack ensured a car was ready even though the courtesy vehicle was occupied. He was also helpful regarding the self-service fuel pump. It's an easy 5-minute trip for some barbecue. I definitely plan on visiting 50R again. Thanks again everyone, much appreciated.

FANTASTIC AIRPORT. Arrived a couple of months back to collect an aircraft. The airport manager was extremely helpful and provided excellent care for our needs. Superb BBQ in the vicinity.

It would be beneficial if crew cars were available after 1700 hours. This might encourage more fuel purchases as well. Who chooses to fly during the peak heat of the day just for BBQ? Not me.... All my future business will go to Smithville. Regards, Robert.
