Excellent small airport featuring a pleasant restaurant on the northern edge of the field. Several quick-service restaurants are also just a short walk away. The self-service fuel farm is situated near the runway intersection, offering 100LL. Recent tree maintenance has enhanced the approach paths. This is a superb airport for practicing short-field and soft-field landings, especially when utilizing the turf. There is also a fantastic flying club located here! The Father John 77 Flying Club in Dalton offers some of the most economical flying opportunities nationwide! EAA Chapter 77 convenes every second Thursday monthly.
