November 15, 2025The screen on the self-serve fuel pump is difficult to read; it appears to have been damaged by prolonged sun exposure. The posted contact number connected to the local City Hall.

August 9, 2025Flew into Shelby County for the Fourth of July and was surprised to find that the airport manager was looking after the airport even on a major holiday like the Fourth! Small, yet comfortable FBO with many snacks and beverages available. Furthermore, the fuel prices were unbeatable! I will certainly return!

April 10, 2024A wonderful airport, particularly for vintage antique taildraggers needing well-kept grass runways offering several landing choices. Self-serve fuel is quite reasonably priced, and two ladder types are provided to assist accessing the upper wing fuel tanks. The FBO is clean and pleasant for resting in the aircraft, using the facilities, and enjoying complimentary refreshments. We flew through here three summers ago while traveling between St. Louis and Indiana, and returning to Indiana this time made stopping here an easy decision!

March 28, 2024Stopped on my way to Indianapolis. Pulled in for fuel, I was second in line; they informed me I could shut down and they would tow the aircraft over to fuel it up. Extremely friendly staff on the field. Very clean FBO, excellent stop, and well-maintained runways. Robert -

February 7, 2024Spent the night in Shelby County due to poor weather along my route. Scott put my plane in the hangar and loaned me the courtesy vehicle overnight for no charge. Very GA friendly. I will try to make this a regular stop along my route—thanks, Scott! - David
