Elizabethton Municipal Airport 0A9 Pilot Reviews

A last-minute trip to view some Fall foliage, and 0A9 was the closest airport to the best colors. David had our rental car waiting right next to where he parked our aircraft. They managed to place our plane in a hangar for two nights, ensuring it was fueled and prepared precisely for our departure time. The service provided by all personnel was exceptional, and the costs were very fair. We certainly intend to make this our go-to mountain stop.

Arrived at 0A9 to collect a passenger, and the ground crew was outstanding in ensuring I was fueled and ready before the weather hit. The line personnel had a clear strategy, were very efficient, and extremely welcoming.

This is consistently a wonderful layover experience. Should you require a rental car, Eric will arrange it for you. If you need or desire your aircraft detailed, Karson (423-946-2423) is the person to call. He is both fair and completely HONEST. William 8324S

The FBO was nice, offering great line service, making it worth the stop. I have added it to my list for future stops.

Polite staff and a clean, well-maintained FBO. The Burger Hut is right across the street; be cautious crossing the highway, which has four lanes plus a center turn lane and a wide shoulder. Low traffic on a mid-day Sunday made it very easy to walk across. They had the aircraft refueled for me by the time I finished eating and returned, even though the fuel truck was temporarily out of service and they had to tow the aircraft to the fuel pumps on the opposite side of the runway.
