October 28, 2024Landed here in a non-turbo 182 with a mountain instructor. One of my favorite landings ever. The landing fee is $10. Self-serve fuel is available, and the lounge is quite nice.

Acr opns durg unatndd hours must ntfy tex customer svc at 970-728-8603 24 hours in advn for provision of adqt arff psnl.
Airport on 1000 ft mesa; strong vertical turbulence in area of mesa edge.
APT Lighting Schedule: Actvt hirl runway 09/27; papi runways 09 & 27; reil runway 09/27 - CTAF. als emergency use only 2100-0600.
ARFF Certification: Rstd to far 139 design groups ai - ciii.
Attendance Schedule: Airport closed 2100-0600 (local).
Cold temperature airport. altitude correction required at or below -17c.
For cd contact denver artcc at 303-651-4814. if una to contact denver artcc, contact denver radio.
Glider; hang glider & helicopter opns on & in vicinity of airport.
Manager's Phone: For svc call telluride regional airport at 970-728-8600.
Noise Abatement: No tgls; wind & safety permitting, all lndgs will be on ry 9 and all tkoffs from ry 27; on lndg ry 27, upon turning from base to final, maintain a hdg of 285 deg to intersect with ry 27 at a point no further E than the ry safety area; on dep ry 9 all acft will as soon as practical, turn right 15 deg to dep hdng of 105 deg magnetic and then continue normal pattern; TPA of 1500' AGL is the min altitud recmd in the Telluride Region; Please descend to of climb through this altitude in an expedient manner when arr and/or dep from the Telluride area. Buzzing the ski area or surrounding Mesa will not be tolerated
