October 1, 2025I had to drop in here due to weather conditions. Very friendly staff! I utilized the crew car to head into town for lunch while waiting for the storms to clear.

APT Lighting Schedule: Actvt malsr runway 06; reil runway 24; papi runway 06 & 24; hirl runway 06/24 - CTAF.
Attendance Schedule: Unattended thanksgiving and christmas day.
Deer on & in vicinity of airport.
Mil contract fuel unavbl.
Roa tower svcs available at 540-563-1307.
Runway 06 Controlling Object Description: 55 ft pole 600 ft from threshold, 546 ft left, mkd/lighted. 76 ft trees 2200 - 2450 ft from threshold, 472 - 630 ft right.
Runway 06 obstruction close in: 10 ft road 100 ft from threshold on centerlines (svc road).
